Ms. Ross's Quote for the Week
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only
thing that can." Margaret Mead
When your child is tardy or when you need to come to Gardner to pick up a child early, you
will need to go to the front door to be identified and buzzed in. Tardy students must have parents sign them in each day. Our new door system locks all doors daily.
This began Thursday, January 23, 2014.

Welcome to Gardner's Artsonia page! Artsonia is an online art gallery where you can view your child's artwork they make at school. Artsonia is a fun and safe place to visit. While you are here, you can view and make comments about your child's artwork, join their fan club, or buy a gift displaying their artwork, in which 20% of proceeds come right back to our art program here at Gardner! If you have any questions about Artsonia, please contact Mrs. Scroggins at firstname.lastname@example.org.

College Awareness Day....
Gardner will be celebrating "College Awareness Day" the last Tuesday of each month. We hope to help our students see themselves as high school graduates as well as college graduates!
Research shows that in the near future, the majority of jobs available will require a college degree. We are working now to ensure our students are ready to fill those jobs!
Be sure to join us by wearing a college t-shirt representing the college you hope to attend!

Three For Me Program....
The THREE FOR ME program is a part of the Hot Springs School District. It recognizes what parents do to assist their child each day of their lives. We ask that you fill in and send to the school a COMPLETED CARD so taht we can keep a record of the many hours you volunteer for Gardner STEM Magnet School students.
If each parent volunteered to spend 3 hours with a child per school year, we would see a difference in his/her academic life.
Activities that "count" include: teaching a class at church, taking your child to the park, doing homework with your child, reading to/with them, shopping, walking, or even doing the dishes together, etc..
